Entertainment Services

These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made with Bebop Circus. By confirming a booking, the client agrees to the following terms.

1. Services

We provide live entertainment services, which may include performances, workshops, interactive activities, and related equipment, for events, festivals, schools, and childcare centres.

The specific details of the services, including date, time, location, duration, and fees, will be outlined in your booking confirmation or invoice.

2. Bookings and Confirmation

  • All bookings are subject to availability.

  • A booking is confirmed once you receive written confirmation from us (email is sufficient).

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking if conditions are unsafe or unsuitable for performance.

3. Fees and Payment

  • Fees are as agreed at the time of booking.

  • Unless otherwise stated, payment is required within 30 days of the performance or by the date listed on the invoice.

  • Late payments may incur an additional fee.

  • All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise.

4. Cancellations and Changes

Client Cancellations

  • Cancellations made 30 days or more before the event may receive a full or partial refund, at our discretion.

  • Cancellations made between 30 days and 7 days of the event will be charged up to 50% of the booking fee.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the event will be charged up to 100% of the booking fee.

Changes

  • Requests to change dates, times, or locations must be made as soon as possible and are subject to availability.

Our Cancellations

  • In the unlikely event we must cancel due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control, we will provide a full refund or offer a rescheduled date where possible.

5. Weather and Outdoor Events

  • For outdoor events, you must provide a suitable wet-weather alternative or covered area.

  • Performances may be paused or cancelled if weather conditions are deemed unsafe.

  • No refunds are guaranteed for cancellations due to weather, but we will act reasonably and in good faith.

6. Venue Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring:

  • Safe and adequate performance space

  • Access to power (if required)

  • Reasonable access for setup and pack-down

  • A safe environment free from hazards

We reserve the right to modify or stop a performance if conditions are unsafe.

7. Supervision and Duty of Care

  • We are entertainers, not carers or supervisors.

  • For schools, childcare centres, and family events, children remain the responsibility of the client and their staff or guardians at all times.

  • Adequate supervision must be provided during interactive activities.

8. Health, Safety, and Behaviour

  • Participants must follow instructions given during performances or workshops.

  • We may stop or adjust activities if behaviour poses a safety risk.

  • We are not responsible for injuries resulting from failure to follow instructions or unsafe behaviour.

9. Insurance and Liability

  • We hold appropriate public liability insurance.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.

  • You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from unsafe venues, inadequate supervision, or breaches of these terms.

10. Photography and Media

  • We may take photos or short video recordings for promotional purposes.

  • If you do not wish media to be used, you must notify us in writing before the event.

  • You may photograph or record the performance for personal or internal use only, unless otherwise agreed.

11. Intellectual Property

All characters, scripts, music, routines, and performance material remain our intellectual property and may not be copied, recorded for commercial use, or reproduced without permission.

12. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or emergencies.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia, and the state or territory in which the services are provided.

14. Acceptance

By booking our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
